I chose to draw Owen who is 5 years old. I created a pensil outline witha 1inch view finder. I then filled the space with pen marks going in the same direction. I darkly shaded places that held shadows tp create value. I didn't think it turned out the best because I rushed it a little bit.
Watercolor
October 2012 This is a watercolor painting that was done in class. We were given guidlines as to what shapes we could put on our page and from there we painted it using different types of color and techniques that were tuaght to us in class. I believe this could have been better if there was a specific theme and not just different things that had to be together on one page.
Cookie Drawing
January 2013 I really loved this project. Ithought it was really fun to not only be able to draw still life but also be able to change it and draw it with the alterations we made to it. I really think it turned out well considering it was a project that only last for a couple of days.
2-point
November 2012 The title of this piece is different worlds. This shows that you can go from one world and then turn the corner and be in a whole new one. I believe I should have shaded this a bit better and made the darkest shaded darker and It would have made the rest of the picture "pop".
Hallway
December 2012 This was a drawing of a hallway in my school. Im very happy with the way that this turned oout I believe that it looked very realistic and I enjoyed the unit a lot. I wish I would have darken the dark shades a little more to show the varying contrast.
Final Drawing
January 2013 This is the fianl drawing that I did this semester. It was a still life unit. At the ending of the unit wew ere able to look back at the drawing we started at the beginning of the unit and the difference was night and day. Im really pleased with the final drawing and I hope there will be many more to come.
